A Busy Week of Fishing at Langara Island

While the rest of BC is basking in the sun, the northern reaches of Haida Gwaii have been shrouded in fog this past week. Coho fishing has been incredible with some wild action offshore. Chinook fishing along the kelp has been a bit more spotty, but there have been some big fish around for those who are willing to invest their time.

Boulder Bay, Seath Point and the Fish Bowl have offered the best chances at chinook salmon this week. Here are a few pics from the past two trips, we're hoping for a few sunnier ones in the coming weeks.

Coho Fishing at Langara

After a bit of tricky travel to Langara, Shirley and Ron made up for it by spending the entire day on the water, catching big cohos and even bigger bottom fish. There were complaints of sore arms throughout the day but that didn't stop these two!
