Hold on to Your Hats
Hold on to your hats; it's been a breezy week on BC's northern coast. Strong northwest winds ruffled the peaceful waters of Langara, bringing with it a mix of weather. The last few weeks of fishing have been incredible, but this week things did cool a bit. Chinook and coho fishing remains very good, and as the heavy winds subside over the next few days, we should have some better opportunities to explore the island.
Hot spots have been Cohoe and Andrew's points and even a few good tides at Friendly and Bruin Bay. Boulder Bay continued to produce hefty fish this last week. Although it has slowed a bit, there were still a few big bites for those ever-vigilant anglers. Here are a few photos from mid-July at Langara Island Lodge...
