Savouring September at Langara
That's a wrap on our last full week here at Langara Island Lodge. Today we welcome our last guests of the season for one final trip, then we'll be shutting the lodge down for 2024. Fishing was very good early in the week and has slowed a bit, but there are still some nice chinooks around and great bottom fishing.
The weather the past few days has been really nice, the late days of summer are now upon. Stunning sunrises have greeted boats all week, a sign of the shortening of summer. Early September is a beautiful time to visit Langara, please feel free to reach out to our guest services team.
Well Deserved!
Yeah Jess!
Our superstar hostess in the 12 person Eagle Lodge, Jess Taramoto, always goes out of her way for our guests and our front-of-house team. She has a lot of fans out there, and we're pretty sure no one deserves a big fish more than her! On her last day off she was at Cohoe Point and reeled in this beauty, she really does it all!
