That's a Wrap!
Well, that's a wrap! Another fantastic season in the books at the lodge. First and foremost, a most genuine thank you to all of you who chose Langara Island Lodge as their fishing destination this year. It has been our pleasure to host so many returning guests, and so many new guests, this season.
We'll be moving to a bi-monthly newsletter after this one, with some fun stuff in the plans. If you are already thinking of 2024 trip, please be patient with us as we finish up this season, we'll start bookings in late September.
Happy to report that we finished the season strong with good fishing and pleasant weather. It may sound like a broken record, but that really was the story of the 2023 season, we had an epic season with solid fishing throughout and overall really nice conditions.
The last few days of salmon fishing was good, we even had two big tyees on the trip! If you've seen enough fish photos this season, don't worry, there's only a few more below and a couple from behind the scenes as we finish up at the lodge.

For Good Measure
Ken Kienzie and his guide Gregor must have rubbed a lucky horseshoe 🍀 this week. Together they boated two beautiful fish, this chrome 39 pounder at Boulder Bay and another 35 pounder at Channel Reef.
What a way to wrap up an epic 2023 season!
