June has proven itself to be absolutely spectacular this season with non-stop fishing since opening day. This past week has provided a mix of weather conditions, but that hasn't slowed down any of the action.

The bite of the season so far was Saturday June 8th at Boulder Bay, only 10 minutes from the lodge. It was nearly impossible to get four rods in the water! What a way for our second group of guests to wrap up their stay with us.

Our third trip of the season saw very good fishing, with two beautiful tyees and lots of chinooks in the 10-15 pound class. There was a smattering of cloud and showers through the trip but overall weather conditions were near perfect. The first coho salmon of the season started coming into local waters as well, which is earlier than usual.

Trip four is happening now and the fishing is back to epic proportions. The hotspots this week have been Boulder, Cohoe Point and Andrews Point. There have been a handful of nice tyee salmon over the past two days and some larger mature fish showing themselves on the Langara and Graham Island shorelines. Certainly an exciting time here!
